clinical care with a touch of magic
Why “psychotherapist witch”?
Calling myself a psychotherapist witch is about allowing myself and others to reframe “witchy” or woo woo as: symbolic thinking, rituals as portals, art as meaning-making, all paired with how clinicians utilize intuition and clinical discernment to create magic.
I proudly call myself a witch as someone who is deeply fascinated by the intersection of rewilding and ecological consciousness as it relates to mental health. It has been my professional delight to be able to share scientific research on the power of nature in our lives with clients while also helping folx identify the subtle differences between having a favorite tree vs a best friend tree. Calling myself a professional witch is naming my commitment to remind everyone I meet that we are human-animals and our interactions with our world can be infused with presence that cultivates wonder.
